MEET KRISTY
Kristy knows firsthand how hardworking Pennsylvanians live and the kinds of sacrifices they make every day to provide for their families. She understands the value of a living wage and what it means to work hard – often at multiple jobs – to afford health care and medications. She wants all of our kids and grandkids to have safe schools to attend and strong tools to succeed in a changing economy. And she understands that western Pennsylvanians deserve a member of Congress who will be present and fight for our families every day.
I’m not like most members of Congress. I’m a single mother, I work three jobs, and I know what it feels like to live paycheck to paycheck. They just don’t understand what people like us go through every day. My mom taught me from an early age that I’d have to work for everything I have. I’m passing that lesson on to my daughters and I’m running for Congress so families like ours in western Pennsylvania – families who work for a living – will finally have someone in Washington representing them.
